Francisco Ramirez (he/him) (@FranciscoNYC) is an award-winning speaker, consultant and tech founder with more than 20 years of experience in the field of sexual health. He holds a Master of Public Health, with a concentration in sexuality, from Columbia University and has consulted on sexual health and diversity in more than one dozen countries for the United Nations since 2005. He most recently served as Vice President of Education & Training at Planned Parenthood of New York City, where he provided overall vision and direction to a team of 50+ educators.
Additionally, he has consulted on projects at: Planned Parenthood, Hetrick-Martin Institute, Columbia University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and the NAACP. He lectures internationally on: sexual respect and consent, sexual diversity, social justice, and innovative approaches to sexual health. Francisco also serves as a voice in the media on sexual health, serving as a producer and on-camera host at MTV, New York Magazine, and NPR. He co-founded OkaySo, a smartphone app providing young people free access to sexperts 24/7, released in 2018. Since 2008 Francisco has offered #FreeSexAdvice, free advice on relationships, sex and dating to passersby in New York City parks and streets.
