Speaker and Consultant
For more than 20 years, Francisco Ramirez, MPH, has dedicated his career to responding to the public health needs of diverse communities worldwide (including gender, sexual orientation, sexual health, and equity).
He holds a Master of Public Health, from Columbia University and has worked as a consultant for various UN agencies since 2005. Ramirez designs and leads innovative training, education, and research efforts in multiple languages on subjects including health education, advocacy, sexual respect, and diversity and equity in the workplace, He most recently served as Vice President of Education & Training at Planned Parenthood of New York City, where he provided overall vision and direction to a team of 50+ educators. Additionally, he has consulted on projects at Planned Parenthood, Hetrick-Martin Institute, Columbia University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and the NAACP.
Francisco serves as a producer and on-air host of content on MTV and NPR, and recently released OkaySo, a smartphone app aimed at giving young people access to health experts for free and on-demand
